AmalgamentWhat AI employees are
From their own site, read 2026-09-17
- Lindy: "The AI teammate that will 3x your output." It "connects to all your tools, knows everything about your company, and does real work for the whole team."
- Lindy: "Do something once, save it as skill, and your whole team gets it." "Whatever you do on repeat, hand it to Lindy on a schedule." "Lindy asks before it alters anything." Integrations: "1,000+."
- Lindy pricing shown: per-user plans from $29.99 a month with a monthly credit allowance; credits measure work performed, from everyday tasks to big builds.
- Viktor: "Not a tool. A hire." Lives in Slack and Teams, connects to 3,200+ tools, asks for confirmation before high-stakes actions, learns recurring work from a screen recording, from $50 a month on usage credits.
Our read
Read fairly, this is a strong category. An AI employee reaches most of the tools a small team uses, remembers what it is told, takes real actions with a human gate in front of the consequential ones, and can be taught a repeatable task and put on a schedule. For a team that wants an AI teammate and has someone who enjoys directing it, these products deliver.
What every product in the category has in common is where it stops. The customer is the operator. Someone decides what to hand over, teaches the skill, writes or corrects the memory, reviews the output, approves the schedule, and watches the credit balance. The AI is the employee. Your team is still the manager, and the business process is still yours to own.
What Amalgament is
Amalgament builds systems that improve the economics of a business. We measure the work in customers created, revenue created and cost removed.
We start with the economic opportunity, not the technology. Scout finds demand the business is not capturing and turns it into customers. Forge finds revenue inside the customers, capabilities and relationships the business already has, then builds the offer and the system that make it real. Sift finds recurring cost that can be removed without losing the capability behind it.
Before we build, we record a baseline. Then we build and run whatever combination of software, AI, data, automation and execution the opportunity requires, and measure the result in your own systems of record. You never have to choose the technology.
Customers created. Revenue created. Cost removed.
Side by side.
Text, not checkmarks. Where both do a similar thing, the row says so.
- What you buy
- AI employeesAn AI teammate, priced per seat or on usage credits, that your team directs.
- AmalgamentA defined economic result: customers created, revenue created or cost removed, against a baseline recorded before work starts.
- Who operates the AI
- AI employeesYour team. You brief it, teach it, correct its memory and approve its actions.
- AmalgamentWe do, when AI is part of the answer. You never see a prompt, a skill file or a credit balance.
- Who decides what to automate
- AI employeesYou. The products can suggest, but the decision and the teaching are yours.
- AmalgamentWe do, starting from the economics: demand you miss, revenue you could add, cost you could remove.
- Who maintains business context
- AI employeesThe product keeps what it is told. Your team keeps it accurate.
- AmalgamentWe keep the context the work depends on, including the baseline we measure against.
- Who builds the workflows
- AI employeesYour team, by doing the task once and saving it, or recording it.
- AmalgamentWe build and run whatever the result requires, and change it when your business changes.
- Your software burden
- AI employeesLow to start. Ongoing: teaching, reviewing, approving, watching spend, fixing runs that go wrong.
- AmalgamentLow. You authorize connections, read-only where possible, and make the owner's decisions. You never choose the technology.
- Human accountability
- AI employeesYour own staff, at the approval step.
- AmalgamentAmalgament, for the result against the agreed baseline, not only for an approval step.
- Core unit of work
- AI employeesThe task, or a saved skill that repeats a task.
- AmalgamentThe result: customers, revenue or cost, measured in your systems of record.
- When something breaks
- AI employeesSomeone on your team notices, diagnoses and re-teaches.
- AmalgamentWe fix it. Because the result is measured, a broken system shows up in the numbers.
- Best fit
- AI employeesTeams that want an AI coworker and have a person willing to manage it.
- AmalgamentOwners who want more customers, more revenue or less cost, and do not want to become an AI operator.
The unit of work.
We don't give you an AI employee to manage. We start with the result and build whatever reaches it.
Someone on your team does the lead follow-up once with the AI watching, saves it as a skill, schedules it, and approves the first few runs. When the CRM changes a field, the skill quietly stops matching and someone re-teaches it.
You tell us leads are falling through. Scout traces where they come from and where they drop out, builds what closes the gap, and counts the result as customers in your CRM. When the CRM changes, the system changes with it.
Which one, honestly.
- Your team wants an AI coworker inside the tools it already uses every day.
- Someone on the team is willing to teach it, review it and manage it, and enjoys that.
- You want per-seat or usage-based pricing and a start measured in minutes.
- The work is mostly one-off deliverables and personal productivity.
- You want a business result, not an AI to manage.
- You would rather someone else decide what to build and which technology to use.
- You want the result measured in your own systems, against a baseline agreed before launch.
- The opportunity crosses several systems and needs more than a saved skill.
A few good questions.
Start with the opportunity. Measure the result.
Keep your tools. We find where the business can win customers, add revenue or remove cost, record a baseline, build what it takes, and measure the result in your own systems.
