Salons and barbershops: more customers, new revenue, less unnecessary cost.

Salons and barbershops live and die by a full book. These are the systems we would typically build and operate for a salon, barbershop or studio, using the tools it already has.

These are examples, not a package. We start with the opportunity worth the most to your business, record a baseline, and build what it needs using the tools you already have.

What we usually see

Clients leave happy and forget to book the next visit until they are overdue. No-shows and late cancellations leave a chair empty with no time to fill it. A cancellation at ten opens a slot at two, and nobody on the waitlist hears about it. Regulars drift to another shop and nobody notices for months. The front desk answers the same questions about hours, prices and parking all day.

Tools you probably already use

  • Booking software such as Vagaro, Boulevard, GlossGenius or Square Appointments
  • Your point of sale and card processing
  • Instagram and your Google Business Profile
  • Text messaging and email
  • Your product suppliers

Where we would start

  1. 01

The next visit booked before they forget

After each appointment, clients get a message timed to their usual cycle with a link to book their stylist or barber, at the cadence that fits their service.

    What changes

Regulars stay on a rhythm instead of booking only when they are overdue.

  2. 02

    No-show protection

Confirmations and reminders go out on your schedule, your cancellation policy is stated in each one, and unconfirmed appointments are flagged to the front desk.

    What changes

Fewer empty chairs from people who simply forgot.

  3. 03

Open chairs filled from the waitlist

When a slot opens, clients who asked to be told about openings with that stylist hear about it first, and the first to accept gets it.

    What changes

A late cancellation becomes a booked appointment instead of lost time.

  4. 04

    Lapsed clients noticed

Clients who have gone well past their usual interval are flagged, and the ones who opted in to marketing get a friendly note from their stylist.

    What changes

You see who is drifting while there is still time to bring them back.

  5. 05

    Front desk questions answered

Common questions about services, hours, parking and policies get an answer by text or on your site, and anything else goes to a person.

    What changes

The desk spends its time on clients in the building.

  6. 06

    A weekly book report

Rebooking rate by stylist, no-shows, open hours next week and retail sales, in one message.

    What changes

You see where the book is thin before the week starts.

What stays with you

Pricing, policies and anything about a client's hair, skin or health stay with your team. Marketing messages go only to clients who opted in. Connecting your tools does not authorize us to send messages or change records; every automatic action is one you agreed to, and you decide what needs review first.

Questions

Do we have to change booking software?
No. We work with Vagaro, Boulevard, GlossGenius, Square Appointments or whatever you use, and connect it to your texting and marketing. We confirm what can connect before any work begins.
Will clients feel spammed?
No. Messages are timed to each client's own visit cycle, reminders go only to people with appointments, and marketing goes only to clients who opted in.
Does this work for booth renters?
Often, yes. We look at how your shop books and gets paid, and tell you what fits a booth rental setup before any work begins.
