Tech help for contractors and field service companies.
Your jobs live in a scheduling app, your numbers in accounting, your photos on phones and your customer updates in someone's texts. The office retypes the same job three times, and nobody has time to fix it. We learn how jobs move through your business, connect those apps so a job is entered once, then keep the connections working.
The kind of thing an owner might ask.
These are examples in an owner's words, to show the kind of work we take on. They are not finished client projects.
“Can the job status in our scheduling app update the customer automatically?”
“Our techs close a job in the field. Why does the office still type the invoice into accounting?”
“Which estimates went out last month and never got an answer?”
“Can job photos land in the right job folder without someone sorting them?”
“I want one page that shows open jobs, who's on them and what's not billed yet.”
“Every new hire needs logins for six apps. Can that be one checklist?”
What we might find, and build.
The right answer depends on your business. We learn how yours works first, configure what you already have when that solves it, and build only when building is the better answer.
Connect your software
Send a finished job from your field service app to accounting, so the invoice starts from what the tech recorded.
Automate repetitive work
Send a customer update from the status your dispatcher sets, using your app's own texts where it has them.
Build useful tools
A simple board of open jobs, crews and unbilled work, built from the systems you already have.
Improve what you use
Set up the scheduling and estimate features you already pay for and never turned on.
Practical AI
Draft follow-ups on open estimates for the office to check and send.
Maintain what we build
Fix a connection when an app changes, and keep a written record of how everything is set up.
Contractors and field service companies often run a field service or project app (such as ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Jobber, Procore or Buildertrend), accounting (such as QuickBooks), a phone and texting system, a job photo app (such as CompanyCam), shared photos and spreadsheets. These are examples of what firms like yours use, not a list of finished integrations. What we can connect depends on what each system allows, and we check that before we agree the work.
We don't run your office, schedule your crews or price your jobs. We don't supply or fix phones, tablets or printers, and we are not an unlimited help desk. We handle the technical work we agree on, and we maintain what we build.
Common questions.
What does it cost?
- $2,500 a month, agreed before work starts. Larger projects and third-party software costs are agreed separately.
Do you only work with contractors?
- No. Contractors and field service companies are one kind of business we help. We help established service businesses that run on many tools and have no developer, and we don't claim a deep specialty in any one industry. We learn your systems and how your team works before we change anything.
Do my crews have to learn new software?
- Usually not. We start from the apps your team already uses and change as little as possible for the people in the field.
Will you replace our field service software?
- Only if you decide to. We improve what you already use first, and suggest a change only when it is the better answer.
