Insurance agencies

Better systems for independent insurance agencies.

Independent agencies run on an agency management system, carrier portals, raters, e-signature and email, and staff fill the gaps by retyping. The same client details get entered for every quote, renewals live in side spreadsheets and certificate requests wait in someone's inbox. We connect what your agency system allows, send service requests to the right person and say plainly where a carrier portal can't connect.

Example requests

The kind of thing an owner might ask.

These are examples in an owner's words, to show the kind of work we take on. They are not finished client projects.

Example

“Can a quote request from our website land in our agency system without someone retyping it?”

Example

“Which renewals in the next 60 days haven't been touched yet?”

Example

“Can a certificate request reach the right CSR with the account already pulled up?”

Example

“Can renewal reminders go out on a schedule, and stop when the client answers?”

Example

“We built a renewal spreadsheet years ago. Can it come from our agency system instead?”

Example

“Can carrier commission statements be matched to our agency system without a day in spreadsheets?”

Where we might start

What we might find, and build.

The right answer depends on your business. We learn how yours works first, configure what you already have when that solves it, and build only when building is the better answer.

  • Connect your software

Send website and phone leads into your agency management system as new prospects.

  • Automate repetitive work

Route service requests like certificates and ID cards to the right person, with the account details attached.

  • Build useful tools

A renewal view built from your agency system, in place of the side spreadsheet.

  • Improve what you use

Set up the workflows, activities and reports your agency system offers and nobody configured.

  • Practical AI

Summarize a long client email thread so a CSR can read it before replying.

  • Maintain what we build

Keep connections to your agency system working when it or a lead source changes, and document how they are set up.

Systems firms like yours often run

Independent agencies often run an agency management system (such as Applied Epic, AMS360, HawkSoft or EZLynx), comparative raters, carrier portals, e-signature, email and phones. Many carrier portals allow little or no connection, and we say so when that is the case. These are examples of what firms like yours use, not a list of finished integrations. What we can connect depends on what each system allows, and we check that before we agree the work.

What we don't do

We don't sell, quote or bind insurance, give coverage advice, or take on your licensing or compliance obligations. Anything that reaches a client or a carrier stays with your licensed staff.

Questions

Common questions.

What does it cost?

$2,500 a month, agreed before work starts. Larger projects and third-party software costs are agreed separately.

Do you only work with insurance agencies?

No. Insurance agencies are one kind of business we help. We help established service businesses that run on many tools and have no developer, and we don't claim a deep specialty in any one industry. We learn your systems and how your team works before we change anything.

Can you connect to our carriers?

It depends on the carrier. Many portals offer no way to connect. We check what each one allows before we agree the work, and tell you plainly when the answer is no.
