A technical team for your staffing firm.
Amalgament is your own technical team, for $2,500 a month. For a staffing firm that means the timesheet nobody chased, the order matched by hand at seven in the morning, and the candidate history spread across an ATS and one recruiter's inbox. We connect the ATS, payroll and timekeeping, automate the follow-up, and build one view of open orders and placements. We learn how the firm works, tell you what is worth doing first, and look after what we build.
The questions that end up with you.
Today someone pieces each answer together from several systems, by hand. Finding a better way to answer them is the work we take on.
“Which candidates are available for Thursday's order?”
“Where does the Lopez placement stand?”
“Which clients haven't approved last week's timesheets?”
“Who last spoke with this candidate, and when?”
Built for how staffing firms work.
Examples of the work we take on. What we actually build depends on your systems, and we confirm it before anything starts.
One view of the work
Open orders, placements and missing timesheets in one view.
Follow-up that runs itself
Timesheet reminders and candidate check-ins that go out on schedule.
Prepared, then approved
Placement data entered once, across the ATS, payroll and timekeeping.
Answers for new people
A new recruiter able to find what the firm already knows about a client or candidate.
Candidates trust you with personal details, and your client list is your business. We ask for access to the systems involved and nothing else, we agree in writing what we touch, and you can revoke access at any time. Your records stay in your systems, and they stay yours if we stop working together.
Firms usually run on an applicant tracking system (such as Bullhorn, JobDiva or Crelate), payroll and timekeeping, job boards, email and texts. We start from the systems you already use and confirm what we can connect before anything starts.
We are a small company taking on a limited number of clients, so every one gets real attention.
What owners ask us.
Does it decide who gets placed?
- No. It prepares information for your recruiters. Decisions stay with your people.
Will it message candidates on its own?
- Where a workflow ends in a candidate or client message, a person reviews and sends it.
What access do you need?
- Access to the systems involved, granted by you, limited to what the job needs, and yours to revoke at any time.
Do you replace our IT provider?
- No. We do not fix laptops, printers or networks and we are not a help desk. We improve and look after the systems we agree to take on, and we are happy to work alongside whoever supports your IT.
How do we start?
- With a conversation about how the business runs and where the time goes. We tell you plainly what is worth doing first and what it would take, and nothing starts until that is agreed in writing.
What does it cost?
- $2,500 a month, agreed before work starts. The fee covers an agreed amount of ongoing technical work; anything bigger is scoped and priced before it starts.
