What we built, and what it changed.
We would rather show one real thing we built and the difference it made than a wall of logos. Here is how we measure our work, and what we will publish once a client is happy for us to.
We're early, and we'd rather say so.
Amalgament has delivered technical work for real businesses. We have not yet published a client-approved story with measured results, so you will not find percentages or logos on this page.
We would rather be honest about that than borrow someone else's numbers. When a client agrees to a story and we can point at what changed, it will appear here in the form below.
In the meantime, ask us in a conversation. We can talk through the kind of work we have done and what it involved, within what our clients allow us to say.
Every story we publish will answer the same eight things.
- 01
The situation
Who the business is, roughly how big, and what it does. Named only with the owner's written permission.
- 02
The problem, in the owner's words
What it cost before we touched it: hours a week, delays, errors, money, or work nobody could face. Measured before we start, or we don't claim a change later.
- 03
What we considered, including what we rejected
The options we looked at and why we ruled them out. Buying something off the shelf counts as an option, and sometimes it wins.
- 04
What we built
Concretely. Which systems, what it does, who uses it, how long it took.
- 05
What changed
Before and after, against the baseline in 02, with the measurement method and the period stated.
- 06
What we'd do differently
The limitations, what is still manual, and what we would change. A story without this section is an advert.
- 07
The owner's words
A direct quote, approved by them before it goes up.
- 08
What it cost
Said plainly. Owners price-anchor on each other, and hiding it helps nobody.
What we will never put here.
- A result we cannot measure against a baseline we recorded before starting.
- A client name, logo or quote without their written approval.
- A number from someone else's case study, or an industry average presented as ours.
- A technical score, like an accuracy figure, in place of a business outcome. A tool nobody adopted has an outcome of zero however well it scored.
- A story without its limitations.
We are responsible for the technical work we agree to deliver. You stay in charge of your business.
