For wealth management

A technical team for your wealth management firm.

Amalgament is your own technical team, for $2,500 a month. For an advisory firm that means the review that slipped, the paperwork a new account is still waiting on, and the client history that lives in three systems and one advisor's memory. We connect the CRM, the reporting and the planning tools, automate the reminders, and build one view of the book. We learn how the firm works, tell you what is worth doing first, and look after what we build.

Every day

The questions that end up with you.

Today someone pieces each answer together from several systems, by hand. Finding a better way to answer them is the work we take on.

“Which households haven't had a review this year?”

“Who is the advisor on the Chen account?”

“Which new accounts are still waiting on paperwork?”

“What did we last agree with this client, and when?”

What we build

Built for how wealth management firms work.

Examples of the work we take on. What we actually build depends on your systems, and we confirm it before anything starts.

  • One view of the work

Reviews due and open items across the whole book, in one view.

  • Follow-up that runs itself

Review reminders and paperwork requests that go out on schedule.

  • Prepared, then approved

Client details entered once, across the CRM, reporting and planning tools.

  • Answers for new people

A new associate able to find what the firm already knows about a client.

Your clients' information

Client financial information is exactly what an advisory firm cannot afford to mishandle. We ask for access to the systems involved and nothing else, we agree in writing what we touch, and you can revoke access at any time. Your records stay in your systems, and they stay yours if we stop working together.

What you already run

Firms usually run on a CRM (such as Redtail, Wealthbox or Salesforce), portfolio reporting (such as Orion or Black Diamond), planning software (such as eMoney or MoneyGuide), custodian portals, email and calendar. We start from the systems you already use and confirm what we can connect before anything starts.

We are a small company taking on a limited number of clients, so every one gets real attention.

Questions

What owners ask us.

Will it give clients investment advice?

No. It prepares information for your team. Advice and decisions stay with your advisors.

Can it trade or move money?

No. It never moves money. Where a workflow ends in a client message, a person reviews and sends it.

What access do you need?

Access to the systems involved, granted by you, limited to what the job needs, and yours to revoke at any time.

Do you replace our IT provider?

No. We do not fix laptops, printers or networks and we are not a help desk. We improve and look after the systems we agree to take on, and we are happy to work alongside whoever supports your IT.

How do we start?

With a conversation about how the business runs and where the time goes. We tell you plainly what is worth doing first and what it would take, and nothing starts until that is agreed in writing.

What does it cost?

$2,500 a month, agreed before work starts. The fee covers an agreed amount of ongoing technical work; anything bigger is scoped and priced before it starts.
