Use a model

Every : command works with no model. To ask in plain words, configure one named provider on the service.

Configure the service

Pass a models file to serve. The credential is read from the service's environment and is never stored in the contract or the conversation. See Models and views for the file format.

amalgament-harness serve ./demo.sqlite --models models.json --model-user-hour 12 --model-business-day 12

The two limits bound attempted model calls, not billed dollars.

Ask in the terminal

amalgament --business demo --username demo-buyer --model NAME

Conversations persist: :new, :sessions and :resume ID. After each reply the terminal prints the exact tool request and a summary of the kernel result.

One question, as JSON

amalgament --business demo --username demo-buyer --model NAME -p 'Which orders require attention?' --json

The JSON holds the business, the conversation ID and the response, including its origin, tool activity and any proposals. Use --conversation ID -p '...' to continue a conversation. -p takes conversational prompts only.

Warning A model reply never approves, releases or executes anything. Only synthetic demo data should be sent to an external provider during the preview.
